The Black Rabbit is a welcoming, family and dog-friendly pub located on Maldon High Street, just a short stroll from Promenade Park—an ideal spot for a scenic walk with your four-legged companion.

We’re open from 4pm Monday to Friday, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, offering an excellent selection of beers, IPAs, wines, and cocktails—something to suit every taste (including treats for our canine guests!).

Our venue features live music, a pool table, darts, board games, a dedicated children’s playroom, and complimentary dog treats at the bar. Sports fans can catch all the action on Sky Sports, and during warmer months, guests can enjoy the largest beer garden in Maldon.
