Building Trust from the Start

At Torries Pawsome Pals, I believe that establishing a strong bond and sense of trust with both you and your furry friend is the foundation of excellent pet care. That’s why a meet and greet is an essential first step. It allows us to get to know each other, ensures your pet is comfortable with my presence, and gives you peace of mind.

Initial Assessment

During our first meeting, I’ll share my qualifications and present the Torries Pawsome Pals Business Book, which includes:

• Full pricing details
• Client reviews
• Images and stories documenting the growth of my business
• Terms and Conditions
• Insurance
• DBS Check

I’ll also spend time interacting with your dog, assessing their behaviour, recall, and general temperament. This helps me understand their needs and personality to provide the best possible care.

If you’re happy with everything, I’ll then present the necessary paperwork. Once signed, we can move forward and begin scheduling services.

Joint Walks – A Gradual Introduction

Before any solo walks, pop-ins, or sitting services begin, I require a minimum of two joint walks. These are essential in helping your dog build familiarity and confidence with me.

• The first walk is done with both you and your dog present.
• The second walk is just with your dog and me, to ensure they’re comfortable on their own.

Each joint walk is priced at £10.

These sessions are designed to make the transition smooth, stress-free, and positive for your pet.
