Dog Walking

We offer both solo and group dog walking, with a strong focus on your dog’s overall wellbeing.

Our walks are designed to be more than just exercise. Each session includes gentle mental stimulation and engaging activities, allowing your dog to use their natural instincts and truly enjoy their time outdoors.

Every one-hour walk includes a dedicated calm-down period. After returning home, your dog will receive a quick health check, be cleaned and brushed if needed, and settled comfortably with fresh water and a hypoallergenic chew.

You’ll receive a detailed update after every walk, including photos, videos, and notes on behaviour and wellbeing.

We also specialise in working with nervous, reactive, and emotionally sensitive dogs. Our one-to-one walking services are tailored to help build confidence, reduce anxiety, and create a calm and positive walking experience.

Each walk ends with a short, fun game of fetch to support:

  • Bond-building between your dog and myself as their trusted walker

  • Recall training and responsiveness

  • Improved focus and concentration

  • Engagement of natural instincts in a safe, structured way

This positive finish makes every walk enjoyable—whether focused on training or simply having fun.

Upon returning home, your dog will be provided with fresh, clean water, and food if requested. A thorough “nose-to-tail” health check will also be carried out. This includes inspection and gentle cleaning of the paws, legs, and ears—common areas for hidden grass seeds, ticks, and minor scrapes.

Pop-Ins

Ensuring Your Pet’s Wellbeing—Every Hour Counts

At Torries Pawsome Pals, we offer flexible pop-in or check-in visits available in 30-minute or 1-hour sessions. These visits are ideal for those busy days when your pet needs a little extra care, attention, and companionship in your absence.

Depending on your pet’s needs and your preferences, a pop-in visit can include a walk, playtime, enrichment activities such as scent games and destruction boxes, and of course, plenty of cuddles. All activities are tailored to suit your pet’s individual welfare, with guidance from you as their trusted owner.

To secure any pop-in session, a 25% deposit is required if payment has not been made in advance.

Before any walks or pop-in visits are confirmed, an initial meet-and-greet is essential. This allows us to get to know one another and ensures your pet feels comfortable with me. During this meeting, I will accompany you and your dog on a short walk to understand their typical routine, preferred walking routes, any scheduled times, and other relevant details that support continuity of care.

At Torries Pawsome Pals, your pet’s wellbeing always comes first. We strive to replicate your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible, as sudden changes can cause unnecessary stress, anxiety, or behavioral shifts. Consistency builds trust. Any adjustments made will always be in the best interest of your pet’s health and happiness—such as increasing exercise for high-energy or working breed dogs when appropriate.
